| It's been almost 9 months since we rescued the ex-event dogs in Yamanashi.
We had hard time to find Konatsu's foster family because of her size. Since nobody was suitable for Konatsu's foster family in last 9 months, we decided to creat the English version website to expand our search to abroad countries. Fortunately, soon after creating the English site, we have received an offer from a Great Dane rescue group in Australia. As you know, there are very strict restrictions to import plants and animals into Australia, protecting their special ecosystems. We have estimated the cost for exporting Konatsu including medical checkups, vaccinations, needed medical care, documents and other fees approximately 500,000 yen. Although our financial situation is severe, we've diceided to let Konatsu go to Australia to meet her permanent family as soon as possible and live her new life peacefully. Konatsu is scheduled to leave for Australia on August 29th. |
